Our Product

The Groove Cube:

Our cajón measures 12L x 12 1/4W x 18H" and is made with five sides of birch and one side of mahogany. Our signature oval sound hole at the base of the cajón offers maximum projection. The Groove Cube sounds amazing as both a purely acoustic instrument and also when miked and projected through a sound system.

Price: $100

Most other cajóns at this size range from about $170-300. But even those cajóns don't get the attention to detail that our handmade Groove Cubes receive at the hands of our Master Craftsman.

Our Company

We are an Orem, Utah and Rexburg, Idaho based, family-owned and operated company of musicians/percussionists, woodworkers, and music lovers that found it difficult to find affordable, quality cajóns...so we made our own. Our master woodworker, Roland Simpson, has been working as a wood craftsmen for decades. His cajón design uses two different woods of varying thickness to create a wide range of percussion sounds, from crisp high ends to a full and deep bass ends. Each side of the Groove Cube offers a different sound for versatile playing. His signature oval sound hole is situated at the base of the Cube for optimal bass projection.
